Waterfront Penthouses began as a vision to revolutionise living spaces on water. Our founders' passion and expertise swiftly guided us from restoring boats to crafting entirely new, bespoke canal boats. Drawing on insights gleaned from our renovation projects, we developed modern designs that stood out in a market dominated by outdated and conventional styles.
As we continued to grow and innovate, we recognised a significant issue facing the UK: the shortage of affordable housing. This realisation led to the creation of Waterfront Penthouses, marking a pivotal shift in our business. Our mission became clear: to provide alternative, affordable housing solutions without compromising on style or comfort.
Over our ten years of boat building and sales, we observed a growing trend—many of our clients were choosing to use our boats as stationary residences in marinas, lakes, and canals rather than for navigation. This insight inspired us to design waterfront homes optimised for static living. These homes offer more internal space and modern conveniences akin to contemporary flats, while still providing the unique and serene lifestyle associated with water-based living.
Today, Waterfront Penthouses stands at the forefront of innovative housing solutions. Our homes can remain stationary or, if desired, be equipped with an outboard motor and integrated steering column. We strive to address the affordable housing shortage in the UK while offering distinctive, attractive properties that serve as primary residences, second homes, or floating Airbnb rentals.

Looking ahead, we envisage broadening our product line to include versatile small units. These units will not only serve as beautiful homes but also as functional office spaces, unique glamping sites, and charming Airbnb accommodations, reflecting our dedication to innovation and adaptability in the housing market.
